“Beetles’ Rays…” (Found Poem)
by Austin Gould

Beetles’ rays
Heart sinking
deep deep darkness
the sun far away
comets zip by
a far away scream
or a harmonica
I’m obliged to the sea down under

um, um, um, blurry
there’s sugar in my pipe
an egg, some cards, deardeardear you

wearing project swallowed
only stored again
laboratory failed
three-headed dog crashes to ceiling
Shut up to occupy stared again
Beep in 1923

Missions of the Trash and Science Lab
by Markus Schweizer

This monkey is an Asian + you
like to eat trash and like
science and he asks his science
teacher how to make garbage
into a trash can he goes on
to the computer and he was
so happy he printed this thing
off about trash and went home
and showed his mom named
popcorn and the monkey had no
dad because he died in 1776 and
the monkey really misses his
dad because his mom never
plays games with him like
his dad always used to and
some of the games his uncle
will play is popcorn and
we don’t know what his uncle’s
name is.

“Then the Bush…” (Found Poem)
by Jamie Tritz

Then the bush said, “It’s all
right” and now Aslan wanted
to know. Know they’re
separated by narrow lines.
The news with the rain the United States helped
him to saber up. What
is this? Leaving the bus
the cycle became the moon.

Read-scales are important to the top of a hay stack.
Texas farms have large cities.

“I Am Up, My Father…” (Found Poem)
by Jordan Lutz

I am up, my father. Too
quick to see the hand,
with school I have
properly lettered. I’m
sorry, don’t argue.
Hand in my mouth.
What, Buster? He/she
player harmony.
Doctor jump with a knife;
tail-mother got out
birds. Darkness.
Pad prevention.
Grid Hermione.
Harry, Hermione, shut
up Hagrid the Rough.
The trapped door,
the three-headed fish Hermione.

Look. Trapped door,
fluffy hat, me so much
Harry Potter.

Been hourly if I could.
Everything was dead.
Gasp! Harry’s toothless mouth.

Run comet, run. Drove dead
silent kite. Broken
white fishing. You and I are
stark doctor.

“I Laid Down on a Bed…” (Found Poem)
by Kallista Thornton

I laid down on a bed and saw
a freshly created dark shadow. I do
not know what Jade expects, but on
the north mile I will obey the law and
help her outrun me.

I began to cry as I heard a man
created from silver footed ants enter ther
gate. He said, “Characters are a scary
story on Plymouth Rock with a picnic.”

The road was long twilight faded into the
night and gently places into the lake through
a crack under a door.

I thought of it as he sat upon his throne.

My Room in the Future (Found Poem)
by Rachel Dierken

Once upon my bedroom in the future
the flickering glow of the candle
climbed up the wall. My husband
goes to the bank, whom he takes
I dare not say. I do not know. I’m
surrounded by ironic short knights, snow.
Water, texture, rose bushes. The long
twilight, the crested crying, the piece
of yarn, the second line is where
I go, whirling flakes of snow and
water. I dare not speak in my
room in the future.

“The Black Sky is Falling…” (Found Poem )
by Daniel Bailey

The black sky is falling from Alaska
because the bears and ants want to
start a cock fight with chickens
that rolled in the black pool that
made a shadow.

“Back at the Wreck…” (Found Poem)
by Ashley Christensen

Back at the wreck, night-songs sternly put
children to bed. People mix many Aztecs
with U.S. invaders. Power is no twin to
trade. Courtney says as she says, “She’ll be
back.”

Always Be Remembered (Found Poem)
by Megan Daniels

always be remembered
chocolate
factory popular singers

can you drive a
motor car? keep going
no mistake,
they had breakfast.
Parents are reminded to
shut up.
How many
Three-headed dogs have you
met crashing into the ceiling?
Good wand
everything was blurry
He flung back.
We have had a few broken
jaws swallowed and
stopped.

“Under Car Door…” (Found Poem)
by Jake Arnold

under car door on top
of Harry Market. At last
Scott Window planned to
sign the first bit of Hank the
lady of west water pipe. Ice
fire other hills. Cold tried
to face the month. None
tell us, tug the wind boy
up to the light. More. No.
