On a regular basis I receive E-mail or letters with snapshots or now, scanned photos included to tell me, show me, about the "stuff" some of my bred pups are "up TOO" as adults! Below are just a few examples. There are many many more that could be listed as the file is thick with complements. I sure didn't make these up as ANY of these or other owners can be contacted for a REFERENCE.

"Hi Cindy,

Sorry it took me so long to get this info to you. It is pretty exciting. Elmo and I have had 3 pheasant hunts since we talked last, and his performance was outstanding. The first trip he was a bit shaky until he realized what the guys with the guns were up to. After that he was a scenting, flushing, downed-bird-finding fool. With his help we were able to find enough birds to limit all three times (an amazing feat in the pheasant-poor reaches of Wyoming). I don't know if it is just him or his breeding but you really cooked up a winner. Here is the amazing thing though... he went on hard point 6 times and held the bird like he was a German Short Hair!!! I almost fell over. We have NEVER done any pointing training.

"Toby is doing well, and is so sweet - still quite the licker! I had him in last night and he is so mellow in the house; Abby gets so crazy with excitement that I keep her out most of the time, but he just lays around wherever I am. He's getting so big! Let me know your address and I'll send you a couple of pictures; I got an outstanding one last night, so I'll get the film developed soon.

"Valentine is a beautiful and great lab. I cannot say or find the words to let you know how happy we are with her. Debbie calls her the 'mush mellon'. She is so sweet. The kids love her to death. She ended up being exactly what we ordered. She is about 60 to 65 pounds now (perfect). All muscle and beauty.

"Hey Cindy!

Soooo glad to hear from you. Moses is excellent!!!!! I took him to the ponds the other day and he learned how to swim. He was sooo tired after swimming. He is retrieving, sitting, staying, he goes right into the kennel when I tell him to, he heels on a leash, and I couldn't be more pleased. He loves me and I love him. He is just a teriffic dog -- so well tempered. I hope all is well with you and your family.

"Hi Cindy!

Our first pup, Tar, continues to amaze her human hunting partners every time we go out. She has done things beyond her training from the very beginning. Tar's daughter, Ursa, has taken right after mom and also is excelling in field work with little training, mostly catching on by watching "mom". Surely all is due to your picking the proper matches for breeding. We couldn't be happier with Tar and Ursa !

"Greetings from Bishop, CA!

Thought you might like a report on Jazz. She earned enough points to be the Inyo-Mono Retriever Club "Top Puppy" for 1997. In addition, she was the high point Senior Puppy (6 mos to 1 yr age group). I'm really happy with her, and we have a lot of fun. Thanks for a great dog!

Liz"
