From the desk of KC7MRQ-2 Pat's Knob offers voice and digital communication
services to the Lake, Sanders, Mineral, Flathead and Missoula counties. Pat's Knob APRS station is a fixed digital repeater that is utilizing
the following components:
KC7MRQ-10 will be upgraded this year to a more robust system that can accommodate the service weather the mountain offers. The antenna will be replaced with a Hustler Spirit series antenna that will have >3dB gain. This particular antenna can withstand the wind and icing that occurs every winter. The radio will be replaced with a Motorola Mitrek. This particular radio will have no external control knobs and will be housed in one of the 19" racks
