Reading/
Language Arts
Students will take their reading, spelling,
and grammar tests on Fridays the rest of the month.
Students are doing very well
in the classroom. I have watched some of them grow over the past two months.
Parents please keep involved in your students education, make sure they do their
homework.
Home Economics
Eighth Graders - WOW time flew by! They are a great group
and excellent cooks.
Seventh Graders - Students have been working on various sewing projects.
Mrs. Hill has been working with the embroidering machine. She has embroidered
names on the students’ bags. Very Neat!!
We will be switching classes at the end of the quarter beginning Oct. 30.
I will be sad to see the eighth graders go but excited to see the seventh
graders. Please send in any favorite recipes to share with the class or better
yet share your favorite dish.
Math
First
quarter is almost at the end. We have completed the first chapter of our math
book. We are now starting chapter 2, addition strategies. Students
have continued rocket ship math and are progressing well.
