Things we are Learning
Week One- Number 13,
shape-Heart and the color pink Week Two- Number 14 and
Letter P Week Three- Letter Q When children play, they develop their
knowledge of themselves and others, they make sense of the world around
them, and they learn to communicate with peers and adults.
As children grow and develop, play changes, but the importance Older
Preschoolers: By the time children are ages four or
five, their ideas about the social world initiate most pretend pay.
At this age, play among peers becomes more important!
While some play is solitary or shared with an adult, pretend play is
usually shared at school or neighborhood. Mrs. Darlington
