Potomac School Mission Statement
The Potomac School shall strive to be an educational institution serving the needs of each student. Emphasis will be to enlighten the understanding of the students concering the fundamental skills and knowledge to become useful, valued, and productive citizens of the community.
Students shall be taught and given opportunitites to learn self-government, to make acceptable decisions, and to cooperate within the framework of the school.
The Individuality of each student is a paramount importance in serving his/her educational needs. To teach students about their privilages and responsibilities as students and members of the community will be an important goal.
True education takes place when students work for common goals. The prime goal is to meet the needs of each student; and to prepare them acedemically to be respected productive citizens of the community, state, and nation. |
