Mrs. Rebekah Blood's Kindergarten

Wow! What a busy month it has been in Kindergarten!!! We took our unit one test this month and are having a blast learning the letters in Unit 2. We are starting to learn to read harder words and are excited to read like big kids.

Math has been fun; we are making sure that we learn our numbers and shapes. We have played bat number bingo! We are also doing a count down to Halloween with candy corn!!! We have been learning a lot!!!

We had a blast watching a helicopter land on our playground, then we got to listen to a presentation by the army about staying healthy and staying off of drugs and alcohol. We loved watching the helicopter take off again. Especially when it flew right over our heads!!

This is what we plan to be for Halloween

Jayden-I want to be BIGFOOT!!!

Demetrix-Monster

Colin-Transformer

Taylor-Cat

This month we have been busy learning all sorts of interesting topics. We have learned about bats, spiders, and pumpkins. We cannot wait until November, we will learn about Native Americans, Turkeys, and Thanksgiving.

Please feel welcome to come and visit us and see the fun things we are doing this year in our Kindergarten Community.

Thank you,

Demetrix, Colin, Taylor, Jayden, and Mrs. Blood
