April 11 -- 18th is the annual Book Fair. I will be sending home flyers next week. This year parents can sit down with their children, go over the Book Fair Flyer, write the order for what they want, place a check, cash, or credit card number on the envelope, and send it to school with their child. I want to encourage parents to come in and shop with their kids and stock up on summer reading material. Also, Wednesday evening, April 13th is Family Literacy Night so parents can shop then with their kids. April is National Poetry Month so we will be reading some poetry and maybe writing some as well.
