This has been a great school year so far. The students are doing a wonderful job in all my classes. I would like to give you a run-down of all my classes.

Let’s start with the 5/6 grade class. We have five fifth graders this year. They are Cordell, Anthony, Marsheelle, Nathan and Robbie. Each of these kids bring their own unique personality to my classes. They are definitely learning what it’s like to be in Middle School.

The returning sixth graders are Nyqolas, Courtney H., Larry, Kaden and Katelyn. These students have matured so much over the summer. They are great role models for the fifth graders.

Now, onto the 7/8 grade class. The seventh graders are Alejandra, Latasha, Shayna, Byron, Alicia, Cory, Tanner and Michael. What can I say about this bunch of kids??!! They definitely keep me on my toes. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

The eighth graders are Jocelyn, Kevin, Nakeya, Danielle, Aubrey and Courtney M. This group can’t wait to get to high school. They are, of course, going to be a class that I will always remember!

As promised from the last newsletter, here are some writing samples from my Language Arts classes. We wrote humorous epitaphs as a Halloween project. These kids have great imaginations. Enjoy!!
